Biopixlar advances: Towards printing heart cells

Biopixlar’s microfluidic technology is ideal for printing even the most sensitive cell types. Using cells received from Dr. Oliver Otto’s Lab from the University of Greifswald, we have successfully printed human iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes in a pilot study together with his group. See the result in the video below.

Cardiovascular diseases are a leading cause of death in world. This is an area where we at Fluicell see great future development potential where Biopixlar’s high-precision bioprinting capability can have a substantial impact on advancing both research and therapeutics.
